Cloud & Managed Services Systems Engineer

Position Title:  Cloud & Managed Services Systems Engineer.

 

Position Summary:  This is a full-time position.  The employee is responsible for installing, configuring and supporting cloud & managed services in accordance with company goals.

 

Reports Directly to:  General Manager / Owner.

 

Reports Indirectly to:  Cloud & Managed Services Team.

 

Support Staff:  Full-Time Account Manager Team, Full-Time Administrative Assistant Team, Full-Time Managed Services Team and Full-Time Project Services Team.

 

Standards and Measurement of Performance:  The person in this position will meet or exceed company expectations with regard to monthly utilization goals as measured by billable hours.

 

The Most Difficult Part of this Position is:  Being pro-active and a self-starter.  This is a small company and the person who is hired will have a great deal of freedom but must be self-disciplined to accomplish goals.

Our Training Program Consists of:  We have a detailed training schedule set out for our Systems Engineers. We speed the first 3 months with each new Systems Engineer training and orienting them on our business. After that, they have ongoing partner training programs.

 

Ideal Systems Engineer

 

Education Required:  2 year college computer degree or 4 college business degree.

 

Experience Required:  1 year Cisco, HP and Microsoft experience or 3 years of Cisco, HP or Microsoft experience.

 

Skills Required:  Knowledge of Cisco Firewalls, Routers, Switches and Wireless Access Points. HP Blades, Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Servers, Storage, Switches and Wireless Access Points. Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer, Best Practices Analyzers, Exchange, Internet Explorer, Office, Office 365, Small Business Server, Windows, Windows Deployment Services, Windows Hyper-V, Windows Intune, Windows Remote Desktop Services, Windows Server Update Services and Windows SharePoint Services.

 

Personality Style:  Upbeat, high-energy, self-achievement oriented person. Someone who wants to take something small and make it their own and big.

 

Attitude:  Always positive but realistic at the same time. Seeks the opportunities in life.
